Please check your ActiveX security settings. They may have been changed by this CWS variant to allow ALL ActiveX!! If they have been changed, reset your active x security settings in IE as recommended here:

did one better…. also downloaded the ie-spyad2. I think that might help out. I did do as it asked on the site, just like you put down on the post. anything wrong with the hijacklog? while reading the link you provided found out that sun is a safer type of java, so im ok. we shall see what happens now. if there is any information you would like to know, please ask me. oh… my next post will have the list of startup stuff. thanks. If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

sorry, couldnt read my own writing thanks. I believe part of my main slowness problem now that everything is taken care of is memory World of WArcraft is having some issues where a whole continent in the servers goes down now and again. happens differently in each server, so they are watching them all and fixing them as they can. I hope this works. thank you for all your hard work and help in this. you will be hearing from me again if things should go catastrophic again …new stuff pops up all the time. anywho, later days and happy trail.
