Hi, I'm new and am not an expert. I use Adaware, Spybot, Hijack This, Spy Cleaner Gold, Spyware Blaster, AVAST Antivirus, Spyware Doctor. I use Zonealarm as my firewall and have recently installed IE-SPYAD. Only Spyware Doctor has been able to detect Virtual Bouncer and Zango (which it says is a Browser Hijacker and ranks it as DANGEROUS). See log below. Any comments? Anybody know how I could stop it from coming back all the time? I can delete it with the Doctor, I just hate that it gets through. Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\CLSID\{48E59293-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}) Registry * Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\CLSID\{48E59294-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}) Registry * Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\CLSID\{48E59295-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}) Registry * Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\InetCtls.Inet) Registry * Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\InetCtls.Inet.1) Registry * Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\Interface\{48E59291-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}) Registry * Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\Interface\{48E59292-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}) Registry * Virtual Bouncer (HKCR\TypeLib\{48E59290-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}) Registry * Zango Search Assistant (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\flingstone.com) Registry * Zango Search Assistant (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\i-lookup.com) Registry * Zango Search Assistant (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\offshoreclicks.com) Registry * Zango Search Assistant (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\teensguru.com) Registry * Zango Search Assistant (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\xxxtoolbar.com) Registry *
what you are seeing is spyware doctor reporting a false positive. The other programs that you have running such as spywareblaster, spybot (immunisations) and ie-spyad, STOP the installs of malware by putting entries in places that the malware would like to install. Spyware doctor is seeing them and reporting incorrectly that you have the malware itself.
Thanks for replying, here's my log.

That program I do not know. It is not (yet) on the list of rogue spyware apps. Can you gove more details. That does not look like Spyware Doctor.

BTW be careful is also a Spy Doctor which IS on the rogue list.

Here is the rogue list http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

Other than that your system is clean, so it must be a false positive.
Thanks mate. I've uninstalled spyware cleaner after I read those links. I'm quite sure I have Spyware Doctor and not the rogue one. Thanks again.
