Hi,

I installed and ran the latest Ad-Aware on my mom's computer but Hijackthis shows a few entries that I think are questionable, so I'm asking someone with more experience than I to give the log a good once over:

OK pezking, Mom's log looks good. Make sure she keeps her antivirus software and her firewall updated. Since Mom is clean, here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help her stay that way:

If her Windows 98 computer will run them ok, I suggest adding these to the Ad-aware SE Personal you already have. You will find information about them and download sites in the links above.

Spybot S&D 1.3 (if you get DSO Exploit Notices when you run this, ignore them.
It is a software glitch, and as long as your criticals are up to date, no need to concern yourself)
SpywareGuard, SpywareBlaster and IE Spyad.
