first look in add/remove panel and uninstall these:

then download, install, update and run these two:

Spybot - Search & Destroy from: http://security.kolla.de

hello goatzilla,

ok here we go:(i would print this out or copy it to a text file were you could read it easily.

look in add remove panel for ezula and uninstall it

Double click my computers & Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and untick "hide extensions for known file types" . Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"

turn off system restore:
To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

1. Turn off System Restore. (deletes old possibly infected restore point)
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot computer

download install and run LSPFix.exe from here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

make sure you click the "I know what I'm doing" button. Select calsp.dll and aklsp.dll using the right-pointing 'arrows'- move all instances of calsp.dll and aklsp.dll it mentions and >nothing else< to the Remove- side but leave everything else (it might already be over there when you open LSPFix). Click the 'Finished' button (if you exit with the X at top right nothing happens).

Check the following items in HiJackThis:
Close all open windows except HiJackThis and press 'Fix Checked'

ok now reboot computer into SAFE MODE by tapping F8 key at restart, chose safe mode from the options, ok once in SAFE MODE

from the desktop bring up taskmgr by hitting ctrl alt delete keys at once, if you see any of the above 04 items running, then select them and hit end task.

you will have to attempt to find and delete these items:
delete just the following exe files only

180ax.exe>>>located here: C:\windows
dhbrwsr.exe>>>C:\WINDOWS
smghir.exe>>>C:\WINDOWS\System32
?hkdsk.exe>>>C:\WINDOWS\System32
DHUpdt.exe>>>C:\WINDOWS

for the rest delete the entire folder:

C:\Program Files\SED\SED.exe ( you would delete entire SED folder in C:\Program Files, same for rest:)

C:\Program Files\BullsEye Network\bin\bargains.exe

C:\Program Files\VBouncer\BundleOuter.EXE

C:\PROGRA~1\ezula\mmod.exe( a folder in c:\program files named ezula)

ok still in safe mode:
Empty Temp folders. Go to Start > Run and type:cleanmgr. Windows will scan. When done check these 3 and press *ok* to remove:

Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin

using explorer(right click on start>explore) drill down to these >>> you want to delete whats >inside< the folder, not the folder itself<<

C:\Windows\Temp\

C:\Documents and Settings\-Your Profile-\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\ (will dump all your cached internet content including cookies)

hello,

ok looking better.
make sure files are set to show:
Double click my computers & Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and untick "hide extensions for known file types"
Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"
