I think I have something called a 2nd Thought Trojan. I've never dealt with any of this before but have worked my way through the forums and am to the point where I seem to have no other options but to post my HJT log. I've ran Search and Destroy 1.3 and AdAware 1.05 to no avail. All the programs and folders on my computer are taking forever to open but run fine once they do. When I attempt to open Media Player I get a Second Thought browser enhancer window that won't allow me to get to the program itself. Nothing is working, please help.

Please go to add and remove programs and remove, C:\Program Files\WildTangent if you didn't install it if you did
you might want to get rid of it.
Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following.
Do this by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

UNLESS you know they are from a safe source, check to remove.

Thanks for your help little eagle. Here is the newest HJT log after I followed your instructions. Everything seems to be working much quicker, IE opens right away and so do all of my other programs. I'm only having two problems: when the computer starts up I get a message saying some DLL for wildtangent is missing and when I try to open windows media player I get a second thought installation window and my spysweeper picks up an stcloader. Then media player doesn't open.

Then run System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder.

This will cause your system to reboot,
Reboot in SAFE MODE. If you don't know how click here
Delete the folder(s) listed
C:\Program Files\WildTangent

Some of these files and folders might have the hidden atribute

Reboot and Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.

Ok, the Wild Tangent error is no longer showing up when I reboot so that problem is solved. My computer is behaving properly in every way that it should. The one thing that I still can't figure out is the Media Player problem. This is what the window says when I try to open Media Player:

The link it shows isn't even a real link and if I close the window before unchecking the box, Spy Sweeper picks up an stc loader. Media player still won't open.

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following.
Do this by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.
The following activeX controls( Download Program Files)will reinstall when(and if) you revisit that website,

then if that doesn't work remove Media player in add andremove programs
and reinstall it.
