Hello again I use Firefox at work but whenever a IE window is opened I get 10 virus detections sent to the Tech guy at work. He thinks since the AV caught it its ok. I do what I can like using Firefox but since these suckers are in the system now I need some help with clean up. Log posted after running updated Spybot and Adaware.

Print these instrucions out if possible. Reboot in SAFE MODE. If you don't know how click here
Then go to add and remove programs and remove,
TV Media

Delete the following file(s) and folder(s) listed
Some of these files and folders might have the hidden atribute

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following.
Do this by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

Then Download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder.

Reboot and Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.

I need to talk to IT as im not able to access safemode. I will do everything you suggest once I can access it. Thanks. Also to answer your performance question. The comp acts fine if a little sluggish though it is somewhat dated witha P3 1 giger and 128 megs of ram. Only when IE is opened do the popups appear and my Anti-virus goes crazy.

I did the fix and the only things that returned were the 2 things I couldnt delete while in safe mode. :( I can post the log when tomorrow whan I get back in to work.

The following have randomly named file names, and as such are normally malware.
UNLESS you know what they are, and they are from a safe source, please check for removal also.

Follow the process tree. Right click on the file and go to Properties.
Then go to the Version tab to see what company name it's from:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [prqtect] C:\WINNT\system32\prqtect.exe

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following.
Do this by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

Reboot afterwards in SAFE MODE. If you don't know how click here
Delete the following file listed .
C:\WINNT\system32\prqtect.exe
