Thank you in advanced for you assistance..
Hello,

Please print a copy of these instructions because you will be working in Safe Mode and/or with all windows closed except HijackThis.

Please run HijackThis in Safe Mode….

Reboot into safe mode, this way:
Restart the computer
Immediately begin tapping the <F8> key.
Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the <Enter> key.

Also, enable the ”Show Hidden Files and Folders” option:
Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

Place a check mark next to the following items then, WITH ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED, select “fix checked.”

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://srch-us10.hpwis.com/

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://srch-us10.hpwis.com/

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://srch-us10.hpwis.com/

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://srch-us10.hpwis.com/

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://srch-us10.hpwis.com/

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://srch-us10.hpwis.com/

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE

If an Administrator has not set a policy restricting access to Internet Explorer settings and you have not configured any software such as Spybot SD to prevent changing Internet Explorer settings, then you can also fix these 06 entries with HijackThis:

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

Now, search for, and delete if found, (some files may not be present after previous steps) the following file:

C:\WINDOWS\ALCXMNTR.EXE

Please delete your temporary files by deleting all files and folders that are in those folders (do not delete the temp folder itself) like for example:

C:\WINDOWS\Temp\

C:\Temp\

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\

Also delete your Temporary Internet Files, be sure to also select "delete all offline content."

Empty your Recycle Bin.

Reboot into normal mode.

If you are not running version 1.3 of Spybot S & D, click here to download Spybot Search & Destroy v1.3 - install, update, reboot into Safe Mode, scan and fix all RED checked items it finds. Reboot into normal mode when done.

Perform a custom Ad-aware scan in Safe Mode……..

If you do not have the latest version of Ad-aware SE Personal, Build 1.05, click here to download Ad-Aware and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Then boot into Safe Mode, start the program, and click the gear wheel at the top and check these options to configure Ad-aware for a customized scan:

Under "General Settings" all available options should be selected.

Click the "Scanning" button.
Under "Drives, Folders and Files," select "Scan within Archives".
Click "Drives and folders to scan" and select your installed hard drives.
Under "Memory & Registry," select all options.

Click the "Advanced" button.
Under "Logfile detail level," select all options.

Click the "Defaults" button.
Under "Default IE Pages" set the "Default homepage" and "Default search page" to what you want them to be; otherwise, Ad-aware will reset them. Do not select the option to "Read current settings from system"… manually fill in the desired web address for each. (For instance, if you want Google as your search page, fill in www.google.com in the "Default search page" field).

Click the "Tweak" button.
Under "Scanning Engine," select the following:
"Unload recognized processes during scanning."
Under "Cleaning Engine," select the following:
"Always try to unload modules before deletion."
"During removal unload Explorer and IE if necessary."
"Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."
Click on "Proceed" to save these Preferences.

Run the Ad-Aware scan, making sure that the mode selected is "Full Scan."

When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next." The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?" Reboot into normal mode when finished.

Next, perform online virus scans at both Trend Micro and Panda Active Scan, using the links in my signature below. Allow the programs to delete all that they may find. Reboot after each scan.

Next, download a free trial of TrojanHunter here: http://www.misec.net/
Install the program and do a manual update of the Trojan definitions.

Then, scan with the program, allowing it to remove all that it finds.
Reboot when finished.

Proceed to the Windows Update site (see link below) download and install ALL critical updates.

Reboot when finished.

Scan with HijackThis and post a fresh log into this same thread.

Edit: Corrected typo. :)
Thank you for taking the time to look:

While running SpyBot It found DSO Exploit, and the Spy bit did not finish, I got an error the error said the following:

"Error during check!
Cabrotor (Datei C:\Windows\win.ini kahn nicht geoffnet werden. The process cannot access the files because it is being used by another process)

Panda, TrendMicro and TrojanHunter found nothing.
I did everything in the order you said, but I noticed that thr R items are back on the Highjack this log.
PLease let me know what further I can do.

And I do have settings in my Securty manager for Comcast broadband to monitor my childrens internet usage, so I could not get rid of the 06-HKCU ones. We have three seperate logins on this computer for the safety of my children.

Hello,

The DSO Exploit message in Spybot S&D is likely from a known bug in the program that can be eliminated with a program update. It is likely that the messsage you're getting regarding Cabrotor is also the result of a program bug. Read this….

http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=23997

The R entries returned because something is blocking HijackThis from fixing them. You must have something set to block changes to your homepage, search page, etc., i.e., such as one (or more) of these programs or a similar program that performs the same function…

Spywareguard
Spybot s&d (Teatimer option)

Prior to doing the fix with HijackThis they need to be turned off.
Please do the following.

Right click the running icon of spybot's teatimer, and choose exit.
Right click the running icon of winpatrol, and choose exit.
Right click the running icon of Spywareguard, it will open the program, Menu, file, exit, and confirm the programs close.

Unless they are turned off they will interfere with the fix by HijackThis and or other fixes.

Scan with HijackThis and place a check mark next to the following entries, then WITH ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED, select "Fix Checked."

Hello,

You're very welcome. :)

Well done! You have a clean log.

This would be a good time to flush out your system restore points and create a new clean system restore point…

Turn off System Restore.

Right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Reboot.

Turn ON System Restore.

Right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Un-Check *Turn off System Restore.*
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Set a new system restore point.

Here are some tips to help you keep your system clean in the future…

Download IE-SPYAD here: https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/resource.htm

It will place over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so that you don't accidentally visit innocent appearing sites that aren't really innocent.

Scan often with Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-aware to remove malware before it gains a foothold on your computer. (Links below). Install SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard to keep baddies from invading your system.

Make sure you keep your system updated by frequent visits to the Windows Update site (see link below). Always install ALL critical updates.

Please take a minute or two to read the short article, "How did I get infected in the first place?" (See link in my signature below). You will find good information on keeping your system clean in the future, as well as links for excellent free anti-spyware tools.
Since this problem is resolved, this topic is now closed…
