I keep getting these pop up ads and they are disrupting my work. Please help!

If you haven't scanned with both Ad-aware SE and Spybot s&d 1.3 please download, update and run an in depth scan following the tutorials:

Next, run a couple of online virus scans:

Reboot/restart your machine after doing the above.

You have "MySearch", which is classified as a 'parasite' by doxdesk
http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/MySearch.html
I recommend that you remove it by going to Add/Remove Programs.
Also, look for WebRebates/Web_Rebates and remove it, if it's there.

Now, rescan with HJT, close browser/explorer windows, check these items then click 'fix checked':

Reboot into safe mode:
Restart the computer
Immediately begin tapping the key.
Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the key.

Show Hidden Files and Folders
Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

Search for and delete:

C:\WINDOWS\multimpp.dll <—file may be be gone
C:\Program Files\MySearch <—delete if you removed it via Add/Remove Programs
C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates <—entire folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wjisdua.exe
C:\WINDOWS\conscorr.exe
C:\Program Files\Win Comm\ <—entire folder

Reboot into normal mode…go into Internet Options - General tab. Delete temporary internet files, and choose to delete all Offline content. Also, go to Start - Find - Files or folders - in the named box, type: *.tmp and choose Edit - select all - File - delete. Empty the contents of the C:\Windows\temp folder and C:\temp folder, if you have one. Empty Recycle bin, clear history and cookies.

Rescan with HJT and post a new log.

Some additional items you might want to 'fix' with HJT:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
Optional but it is a resource hog. You can start this manually

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
This is optional, but it's a resource hog. RealPlayer running at Startup is not necessary. You can fix this with HJT, but you will also need to set it not to load in RealPlayer itself to keep it from resetting itself

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Weather] C:\PROGRA~1\AWS\WEATHE~1\Weather.exe 1
Some people feel that Weatherbug is related to spyware/malware if you are not using the paid version. WeatherPulse by Tropic Designs does not install any spyware/malware; You can download it here (free). If you choose to have HJT 'fix' this item, please uninstall it via Add/Remove prorams and delete C:\PROGRA~1\AWS in safe mode.
