This one is viral, fix this entry with HJT:

O2 - BHO: nlhtme - {45106E5D-EC88-A78B-CC77-B1AAD301C8EE} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\nlhtme.dll

Then check that the actual file has been deleted. If it is still there then delete it.

I'm still checking the other one. Does BPS Software mean anything to you?
Yes. I just put it on on Friday evening. It was not on prior to that time, so I'm not sure that's what concerned you in an earlier log. Let me know. Thank you!
I noticed it on Saturday - it appeared in a log you submitted, I didn't recognise it and wanted to verify that it wasn't malware. If you installed it then it's not a problem. If you have fixed the viral file then you should be good to go. Post a final HJT log and let me know how it's running.
It's running much, much better. I've reset the IE homepage, and it's actually stayed! Plus, the speed of the computer has improved and its efforts to lock up from time to time have diminished. During the course of our repairs, several files have been deposited on the desktop (desktop, thumbs, desktop). Is it safe to ditch them? Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your advice. You've been a true sanity saver. Here's the latest log. . .

You're welcome - glad to help :D Your log is clean now and you can remove those files on your desktop.

Update Windows to SP2 to benefit from it's enhanced security feature. Also to help keep you clean follow the recommendations in Tony's article here:

So how did I get infected in the first place?
