Well, when I first posted, I didn't have HijackThis in it's own folder, so now that I do, here is the log if it changed any.
Edit: My default browser is Netscape 7.2 but the popups come as Internet Explorer!

Click here to download CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Spybot Search & Destroy - install, update, scan and fix all RED items it finds. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Ad-Aware and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Then click the gear wheel at the top and check these options:

General> activate these: "Automatically save log-file" and "Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal"

Scanning > activate these: "Scan within archives", "Scan active processes", "Scan registry", "Deep scan registry", "Scan my IE Favorites for banned sites" and "Scan my Hosts file"

Tweaks > Scanning Engine> activate this: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."

Tweaks > Cleaning Engine: activate these: "Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion" and "Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."

Click "Proceed" to save your settings, then click "Start", make sure "Activate in-depth scan" is ticked green then scan your system. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".

Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.
Thanks, I did the CWShredder. Next I used the Spybot - Search & Destroy, but after it found 189 problems, i told it to fix them. after the green bars filled up the meter, a whole bunch of errors started popping up. I'm doing it again to see if it will work. If it won't ill tell you what the errors said.
Now whenever I tell it to fix the problems, it says [Not Responding]!!! i'll try Ad-Aware SE then i guess.
Well, here's the log file afterwards.

it's on the third page so i figure bump it back  Edit: oh and by the way, how can I totally uninstall Internet Explorer?
Doesn't matter what page it's on - I get an email so I'll come back to it.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

Click on Config then click on Misc Tools. At the new screen click on the 'Delete a file on reboot' button. You will be presented with a dialog asking you to pick a file. Copy and paste:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\ntvdscm.exe

into the file name field and press the open button. Hijackthis will prompt you to reboot, click 'No' and click the 'Delete a file on reboot button' again. In the box that appears copy and paste:

C:\WINDOWS\wdskctl.exe

Again you will be prompted to reboot, click 'No' and repeat the sequence for all these files:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\breg.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SysRen.exe
C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates\WebRebates0.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\Xcpy1.exe
C:\Program Files\BTV\btv.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nbicdnt.exe

After the last file has been entered, when you are prompted to reboot, do so. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here for a final check over.
Hey again, I followed your directions. You guys are great!!! and sorry if I spammed your e-mail with all my replies, daemon! Anyway, here is the log for the final Checkup:
