Please do all the steps in the order they are listed.

Reboot in safe mode.

Uninstall Trustix from control panel >> add remove program if listed there

Reboot

Download LSPfix here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

Start the program and then check the I know what I'm doing box.

Move all instances of netdog.dll (and nothing else), to the Remove pane.
Click the Finish Button and reboot.

Find and delete the file c:\windows\system\ netdog.dll

After that Please delete your temporary files by deleting all files and folders that are in those folders (do not delete the temp folder itself) like for example
C:\WINDOWS\Temp\
C:\Temp\
Also delete your Temporary Internet Files, be sure to also select delete all offline content.

Reboot and Install This firewall.ZoneAlarm FREE

If you lose your internet connection go back to system restore. and move back to the restore point you just made.
I tried to uninstall Trustix in safe mode and got the following error message: Error 1719 The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safe mode or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. I then tried to uninstall Trustix in the normal mode. When I clicked change/remove, nothing happened. Should I proceed to lspfix?
I encountered a few problems! I tried to delete the folder in safe mode. It would not let me delete the folder (access denied for removing netdog.dll). So, I removed each piece individually. Ran lspfix. Rebooted. When I went to the step to delete windows/system/netdog.dll, it was not there (should I have changed my settings to view hidden folders??) In a nutshell, I lost internet connection again so I had to go back to the restore point I created earlier (thank you, thank you, thank you for having me create this restore point!!)

Just didn't want to have to do all that over.

Now back to the experts. Hope to have a reply tomarrow.

Hate asking for help

Hate asking for help

Glad I did [external image: Posted Image]Guess I'm going blind.

After I got my head out of the sand.
And did some more reading on "Trustix"
It doesn't appear to be bad at all. [external image: Posted Image]

Sorry about all the trouble.

Other than the 010's that you should keep, your log looks fine.

Please read through the ideas and free software listed below that will help to keep your computer clean.

Thank you for researching Trustix firewall and no trouble at all. I did email tech support for uninstallation information as I have the Trustix licensing screen (jumbled and retaining pieces of my last web page viewed) stuck in the middle of my desktop. Not a big deal, but annoying to look at. So hopefully, they can help me uninstall it completely. I am so excited everytime I run ad-aware and spybot s&d and it comes up clean!! Thank you again for all of your help. :D
