Is it normal for dso exploit (5 entries) to get removed everytime I scan with Spybot Search and Destroy? Is it common to be such a regular occurance?

Hi Newtech! :wavey:

The log looks pretty good.

I always have people fix this entry:

If your Windows and IE are "up to date" (which yours are), you can ignore the DSO exploit in Spybot. There is a way to configure it to do that, but I don't have it with me right now.

Will post again later.

As promised:

From SWI forums concerning "DSO Exploits":

As long as your system is fully patched = all Windows Update "Critical Updates" installed. Then this is a non-issue and you can put that item in the "Ignore List"

Run SpyBot, click Settings, select: "Ignore Products"
Click the Security tab and place a check in "DSO Exploit"

Although, I think this DSO problem has been fixed in Spybot v1.3

I also found this (courtesy of Nellie2):
