Standard Stuffit

I have downloaded the stuffit standard as I was told it is a free download. Every time I access, this, it's telling me if I am going to use it regulary I have to pay for registration. I do not know what to do, should I pay for the registration as when the trial period is over after 30 days, it will not let me use it. My next problem is I keep getting this pop "illegal operation and windows will be shut down", when I clicked on details I get this "Rnaap", can you shed some light on it, please. Thanks.
