hi, not sure whether i should have started anew thread for this or added on to an old one…sorry

anyway …again with the pop-ups and hotmail dissapearing…

have run s&d and symantec and avg antivirus. they got rid of some stuff but still have the 680180 or whatever. ran hijackthis too..

It may be "hidden". Use the link in my signature to explain how to show "hidden" files if necessary.

Boot in normal mode and post a new log file in this thread. :)

done, although there was no "wixes.dll" file in that location when i rebooted in safe mode , hidden or unhidden. there were wixesa.xml and other similar files but no dll's. anyway…new log :
