I'm looking to move away from Xfinity. I currently have their bundle of internet, cable and phone. I want to keep their internet service but not cable and phone. So I want to replace their modem and router with something off the shelf from Amazon, BestBuy or Other suggestions appreciated. We need something around 300 Mpbs speed wise at it is just two of us who work from home. However, we have a 4200 sq ft home with my office downstairs and my wife's office upstairs. We will replace cable with YouTube or Hulu+ and add netflx, etc. So, since Black Friday is approaching there are so many deals on modems/routers/combos, and I have no clue where to start. Thanks for any thoughts and advice. BTW new member and first post.
