My Lenovo Ideapad keyboard has crapped out and replacing the keyboard involves removing the entire electronics.

I have the option of buying a new laptop, on sale, but the screen is not a touch screen.

Could I simply use the touchscreen from the old laptop in the new one?

What would I need to do, switch drivers?

Old Laptop is: Lenovo Ideapad FLEX6-14ARR

Why not just use a USB keyboard with the present computer, less expensive and less hassle all round.
