i'm not sure where to post this, but has to do with my sound volume. i think, i was using sony headset, i have no speakers and they quit. i unplug them and i can hear i guess a small speaker in the tower? so i start using earbuds that came with a phone. they suddenly start to gradually lose volume. i've done updates, i installed new realtek hd audio. i run windows 10. i've gone through all the volumes there are that i can find and have failed system restore twice since it started...help please?
i hope i'm in the right place...

I am so sorry but it looks like you have our experts stumped. This is outside my knowledge so I have no useful advice.
Perhaps if you could think of any additional information (though I don't know what it would be), then someone might suddenly come up with advice.

here is a screenshot showing two different realtek hd audio output. in all my dealing with realtek i've never seen this #2. it just started showing about when the problem started.

is it possible if at some time on the front where headphones plug in the 3.5 that it got bumped and possibly damaged the internal sound card? is there a way to test it, is it difficult to replace if need be?
