What are the most recent/last motherboards & CPUs having native support for Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS? I'm aware the latest & greatest components either will not work, or only function after extreme workarounds are done, and I have no interest in fooling with this, so I expect legacy parts are needed. I'd like recommendations to at least narrow the choices down.

I'm looking for minimum 16GB RAM, the more expansion slots and SATA connectors the better, at least four USB 2.0 ports, VGA port is required, and if at all possible eSATA. For the CPU, I think an i7 (or AMD equivalent) would be the target. The starting point is a Cooler Master Trooper (SGC-5000-KKN1) case, Asus Xonar D2/PM/A PCIe audio card, three Syba mobile racks, and many WD Caviar Black #WD1001FALS hard drives.

Since I will be acquiring parts piecemeal, cost is not really a factor, but I likely would not want to go over $300 for any one component. The PC will be used for surfing the net, streaming movies/TV shows from sites like putlockers, possibly some video coding/editing (in the unlikely event I find anything worth burning to DVD), Photoshop or GIMP, Word 2003, maybe Virtualbox, printing from a color inkjet and B&W laser printers, and a lot of Linux LiveCD sessions.

Be advised this is a Win 7 build. This is not a Win 8 or 10 build, and neither will be considered. Win 7 is the last M$ rendition I will be using before I make the jump to MX Linux, hopefully in a couple years. Debates and proselytization will be ignored. Finis.

It would appear that no one here is able to provide you with the requested information.  The only comments I could supply would probably be considered the start of a debate, though I hardly think I would go so far as a proselytizer.

Sorry.
