Audio Renderer Error

Best Answer solo58 , 30 January 2020 - 06:53 PM

Yep, and the drivers all reappeared. I'm guessing the old drivers were corrupted in the Windows 10 update and removing them forced the reinstallation of "clean" drivers.  Thanks Go to the full post

I recently updated my laptop's windows 10 system and now am unable to watch video on Youtube.

After a few seconds I'm getting a grey noisy screen and a banner: audio render error. Please restart your computer.

I have restarted and it doesn't fix the problem.

I've tried disabling and reenabling the sound drivers and that doesn't help either.

Help!

I've also ran the audio troubleshooter.  It doesn't help.

What audio is in the laptop? Realtek? If so, try installing the latest Realtek driver, see if that helps.

Did you reboot afterwards. Most likely Windows found and installed a driver and for some reason it now worked. Look at Device Manager, sound.
