Hi kev99 and welcome to our forums :welcome:

Sorry to hear about the screen issue.....It sounds like it could be either the cable connection to the screen or the screen itself going bad.

1 Try booting into safe mode, does it still go green?

2 Before Windows loads, access your BIOS/UEFI..... is the screen still green?

3 Its always a useful step to update your video driver however this is unlikley to be the issue here ( but it's always worth a try!)

4 Try booting into a Live distro of Linux ( Linux Puppy is good) and if the screen works fine then it's definitely a Windows/software issue, on the other hand if it still shows all green then its pointing to your hardware and you should start with checking out the cable connection from laptop to its screen, if that is Ok then I'm afraid its likely to require a new screen.

Regards

My screen turned pink before and it was fixed with driver updates. Not sure if that's applicable in this case, too. But I guess there's no harm to try it out.
