Very generic "Software download complete." box in lower right

Hi,

I have a white box in the lower right of the screen which says, "Software download complete."  with install now and install later buttons.  I did a full scan with Norton 360 premier and it is still there.

Feels like malware.

I use chrome almost exclusively.

Please help.

Thats legit, its an upgrade from Verizon. If you click on Upgrade now you will see its from Verizon before you actually install it.  You must have plugged in a smartphone from Verizon at one point . Verizon goofed on this one, its gone viral with people wondering what it is

Verizon should have labeled the update so that people would know what it was. What i did is went into Task Manager ( Press Ctrl…Alt…Del ) on your keyboard and go into the processes tab and looked for Verizon, highlight it and on the bottom right clicked on End Process and the the upgrade tab went away, but until you upgrade it will reappear next time you boot up
