Hi, i need some advanced technical support on this issue. I have tried calling Microsoft and Avast my antivirus for some support but they charge like 186 dollars to repair it. This has been an ongoing issue since i rebuilt my machine, which was in June. I have made several topics over the the last few months in regards to this issue, one of which was a maleware removal which didn't happen to be the problem and the other was related to hardware, which i personally replaced everything accept my ram. Well i have new updated information to share. Avast offered me a free support and was able to look at certain monitors or log reports of the system instability

When i look at the event logs, you can clearly see that the system is generating error reports almost every second even. Now i have said before that i have had network issues, driver problems, and most notably software that is non responsive on a repeated bases. I have tried everything with in my power and i have gotten numerous support from you guys in regards to fixing these issues. But i have still not been successful apparently. As the log reports are indicating that i am still having these errors as far back as 3 months ago.

As for the symptoms of my machine, Well they can range to quite a few things that happened off and on, but most notably is the system stuttering and the audio having sort of a warbling distorted type of sound to it. Especially when i do any sort of video processing, or launching video player applications, as well as trying to do any sort of graphic intensive tasks such as playing games, etc. Most likely the first thing that comes to mind would be a video graphic card issue. I would really hope this would not be the case because my graphics card is only 2 months old. The person that i was taking to mentioned that she did not have the experience to fix the issue, she would have to send it to her 2nd lvl support team but she was almost certain that it was a software related issue and not a hardware related problem after viewing my system reliability reports.

So i ask you if you can some how diagnose this, by either using remote connections to check out my computer's stability, and if you don't have that sort of support, then just help me in trying to resolve these issues with my systems over all health. If there is any sort of software that you use, that can get detailed log reports of my computer, that would help you understand the issues i have going on here. Then you can look at each error or warning and determine what might be causing these.

As i said, this has been an issue, even before i upgraded my machine 3 months ago to a whole new motherboard and graphics card. This has been kind of ongoing problem and im pretty sure some how related to either drivers, codec issues, or anything that could be causing some sort of conflict with the system.

Thank you very much, i look forward to hearing from you soon!  :)

Jeff, the first thing we need is a complete hardware description and installed software and programs/services that start at boot time.

Piriform Speccy is good for the hardware description. Once installed, run it and select File, Save as text file. Upload and attach the .txt file here in your next reply.

CCleaner is good for installed and starting software/services. Get the free version.

During installation, uncheck the option to install the Yahoo toolbar.

Start CCleaner. Click on Tools (ICON) and Select the following BUTTONS to create two (2) text files:

  • Uninstall > Save to text file (install) – bottom right corner of app window
  • Startup > Save to text file (startup)

Locate and open each saved file in the ‘Documents’ FOLDER:

  • Copy and paste the contents of each file into your next post (2 files).

Ok here are the log files, since the speccy logs are long. I will just attach that to this post. Another thing i think that is worth noting, is the script loading errors, i seem to have gotten quite alot of these both in IE and google chrome. I do not know if this is a browser issue, i doubt it its just something worth mentioning that was clearly displayed in the system log reports.

You have a good quad core I5 with 16GB of ram so it should run very well.

Not much in installed programs or startup items other than uTorrent. I'd suggest disabling it in msconfig, Startup tab. Run it only when you want to actively use it.

What are all these used for and why do you have them all connected at the same time? As a start, try disconnecting all of them and see how things run. From what I see you have a total of 10TB of drive space.

2794GB Seagate Expansion Desk USB Device (USB (SATA))    51 °C
931GB Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 USB Device (USB (SATA))    39 °C
1862GB Western Digital WD My Passport 0820 USB Device (USB)
1863GB Western Digital WD Ext HDD 1021 USB Device (USB)
863GB Western Digital WD 20EADS External USB Device (USB (SATA))

Also, you have 20 instances of chrome.exe running which seems a tad extreme. How many Chrome windows do you have open?

Also 2 instances of nacl64.exe which is a Chrome add-on I believe.

Optical Drives
ASUS DRW-24B1ST c ATA Device

WD Virtual CD 1110 USB Device - this one appears to come along with your WD External drive.

How does it run and behave if you boot to Safe Mode with Networking?

Yeah it "Should" run very well. But evidently it isn't. The reason i have so many links open is because i am doing quite alot of multitasking and work on my machine.

you would think that the issue is stemmed by over excessive usage of ram but as you see. I have 16 gb of memory installed. Looking at the task manager, even with all of the links opened. The ram is only running up to 3 bars.

153r76v.png

The hard drives are my media drives, mostly for game data and stuff. Yes i have quite alot of USB ports connected, but that shouldn't caust instability to my machine during any sort of video processing and that shouldn't affect audio and sound either.

I will try and boot to safe mode and then i will unplug all of my drives, in addition close all of my links, try and run one youtube video and see if the situation gets any better. Then i will reply back on this post.

EDIT: Ok i definitely figured out part of the issue here. When i was using one google chrome link, it seemed to be ok, but if i did anything else on the machine, launch applications, start up new links, anything at all and it would start to stutter. The more links i opened up or the more intensive tasks i opened, the worst it would get. Now playing any sort of game which takes high CPU resources and memory, that just won't even work. It will start stuttering immediately and consistently.

Now with my specs of my computer, there is no way that should be happening, especially after only opening up just a few more google chrome links. That to me seems like its a memory issue that is happening or a CPU problem. but like i said this pc is very new, i just recently installed all of these components accept the RAM.

EDIT 2: ok in safe mode, right off the bat, i notice that when seeking a video, i am able to display all of the clips on the video's youtube page. Where as in normal start up mode, i can't. Also everything seems to be running like 10 times faster. This is how my computer should be. I realize that safe mode stops all processes from running, so it uses far less memory, but still with 16 GB of memory, and a 4th gen I5 CPU. I should be able to Overclock both my video and CPU and tax this thing to the limit with applications and still not have any issues. But apparently something installed in windows on normal start up mode is causing this problem and as a result the computer can't handle many tasks at once and stutters, some times to the point to where my programs and google chrome goes unresponsive. So i have to figure this out. It can't be much because i don't have many programs installed in the first place, as i said my machine was recently just formatted. But evidently its something because there are absolutely no symptoms in safe mode.

I would try a different web browser, Firefox or PaleMoon instead of Google Chrome.

About all you can do is try different things to isolate down to one or a few causes.

Could this be a like settings that is p reconfigured on my graphics card? to me it almost seems like a graphic card issue. Since it is happening mostly with anything requiring video processing.

you get the graphics driver from the manufacturers site or nvidia site? personally i think i'd do a clean uninstall of the driver and hardware then reboot and get whatever the latest is from the manufacturers site, sometimes they work better than actually going directly to nvida site and using the newest from there.

Oh my goodness. Well google chrome is deffinitly the culprit. I uninstalled Google Chrome, installed Firefox, and i also got a pop-up messaging indicating a new graphics driver update, so reinstalled it but im pretty sure that wasn't what was causing the issue.

In any case, the video processing on the browser it self is running far more smoothly. Even the visual quality is enhnaced, more lightening and less degradation and pixelation and HD video's do not buffer at all. Most notebly, the computer does not stall or cuts out audio when doing multiplte taks. So yeah its fixed lol

I have been using google chrome quite a lot time, but thats the last time i think im going to use it. Evidently they have some issues to work out probably with memory allocation since running certain videos on the browser it self not only causes issues with the browser, but also complete system instability with loading apps, playing videos, video games, etc.

Now i have no issues once google chrome was out of my system.

if you like chrome then no harm in trying it again now everything works fine, if the problem returns then you can always uninstall it again and stick with firefox. it will also prove chrome was the problem for definite.

Google Chrome seems to be going downhill recently. Lpts of people complaining about performance problems with recent updates.

Give Palemoon a try. I like it better than Firefox.
