HI, My samsung galaxy s2 died in the middle of me using it yesterday at around 9pm. So i did the usual thing,i started it up again so I could see the percentage of charging via my lock screen.it did this weird thing where my lock screen flashed for a few seconds and then died again copletely unresponsive. idk if this matters, but my screen was low brightness because of the low battery which is normal. so i feel like some people wouldnt have noticed the flashy thing.but i did. keep in mind it was plugged in the whole tme.but didnt respond after the flashing. so when i went to bed at 10, i plugged it in my room wall socket. no response after a while. so i tried all chargers and every socket.still no response.then i left it plugged in overnight hoping it would charge.btw all this time that has been plugged into wall socket, no matter what charger or socket, the battery icon for charging didnt ever come up not even with the yellow triangle and explanation mark came on. i currently have it plugged in my computer becasue when i woke up still not responding. its not charging in my computer either.my computer ist even picking up that its plugged in. my mom wont take me to a repair place today. im 15, in the year 2014 be 16 in september, like i cant survive without my phone.:(ive only had it for 2or 3 years.contract isnt even paid off and my mom cant afford to buy a new one. help? thanks and sorry its a long explanation.

Was any warranty taken out when you got this ?
If you did then that's the way to go, next would be to contact your SP (Service Provider) and see if they are willing to do anything to help, those are your first things to try IMO, now it's been many years since I helped with mobiles, but the 1st things that come to mind are a faulty battery, and\or the socket (on the phone) is damaged so the power is not reaching the place it should.
Another possible is the lead(s), and\or plugs. These are not that likely due to doing the same via both, plug, and PC, unless you are using the same lead for both ?
The quick checks are if you have another lead to try, if you know anyone with the same phone, if you do ask if they would be willing to swap battery's purely to see if your battery works in their phone, and their battery works in your phone, also check if they can charge (trying with your charger and theirs) your phone with their battery in, and try to charge their phone with your battery in, the results from doing all this will really narrow down what's wrong.
The flashing you mention may mean something to someone more up to date with phones, but if none of the above helps, bottom line is you will need to get it to someone who repairs mobiles, because the work it would need is very specialised, you will find many places will accept postal repairs, just use Special Delivery as it is insured, and most importantly check out who you are looking at going to BEFORE you go to them, and word of mouth is worth it's weight in gold, so if you know someone who has had a repair(s) done, ask them who they used, and if they were any good, and google them, and look for any negative comments.
One final thing to note, due to the many possible things that could be going wrong, they will rarely (but I have yet to see one) be able to tell you what it will cost, BUT, you can make sure there are no nasty surprises, if it turns out to be to pay too much to repair it, you can agree what will happen, and they should be able to give you a rough idea assuming it is x, y or z that is wrong, but if the cost of repair is too much, then you would only have to pay them for the service in finding out what was wrong, it would be unfair to expect them to spend a few hours looking for a fault, for you to say you can't afford it.
But don't be afraid to ask them any questions, sorry I can't give a specific answer as to what is wrong, as there are many possible causes, maybe the screen has gone as well, only a repair person can tell you for sure, I hope this helps a bit though, but in the mean time see if anyone has a spare phone they can lend you as a lifeline lol, anyway hope it works out for you.

try this
Pull the battery out.
Plug phone charger in
Press and hold power button for 30+ seconds w/o battery
Remove charger and put the battery back in
Plug charger back in and attempt to turn phone on
