Hello Adam.

Volume Shadow Copy..................................If you think its a good idea I should have this service, then I would welcome your input to have it.

IE..........tried your link, was told I had an up to date version.

Adobe Reader...........tried to update, was told it was to date.

I'm not sure on those two things.

Hello Ian,

Both your Internet Explorer and Adobe Reader are up to date. The latest build for Internet Explorer on Vista is in fact 9, so there was no need for me to direct you to the download page.

To start your VSS service:

Click the Start button, type CMD, right-click and select Run as Administrator.
Type net start VSS and press the Enter key.
Close the Command Prompt.
