Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
 

  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.

  • Depending on your browser, a pop up should open asking you to download the ProcessExplorer.zip" file. 
  •  
  • Once the file has been downloaded, please go to your downloads folder and then open the ProcesseorExplorer.zip folder.
  •  
  • Click on the procexp.exe file. 
  •  
  • A pop up will open asking you to EXtrct all
  •  
  • Click Extract All, then choose the location to where you wish to extract the files.
  •  
  • Click Extract.
  •  
  • Once all the files have been extracted, click on the procexp.exe file, then choose Run.
  •  
  • Click agree on the page displaying the Process Explorer License Agreement.
  •  
     
  • The program will then open showing a list of all the systems processes.
  •  
     
  • To save a log file, click File, then Save.
  •  
  • Please save the System Idle Process.txt log file to your desktop.

    Can you please go to F-Secures websiteand perform an online scan.
     
    • Under the F-Secure ONLINE SCANNER section, click on Read More.
     
  • Click on Run Now
  •  
  • This will download the F-secureOnlineScan.exe file.
  •  
  • Go to the files location and run the file.
  •  
  • This will then open the F-secure onliner scanner application.
  •  
  • Before beggining a scan please save all important documents and close all other applications as  
  •  
    the computer may require a restart  during the scanning process.
     
  • Click Start
  •  
  • Click Accept on the User License Agreement page.
  •  
  • Click Yes when prompted by Windows User Account Control.
  •  
  • The scan will then begin.
  •  
  • When the scan is complete the scanner will state whether or not an infection has been found.
  •
