I uninstalled Panda AV so I could install another AV product. I used their uninstaller and the uninstaller in control panel. I just ran an OTL scan and the Panda drivers are still installed. Is this a problem ? I've used the computer for a month or two and it seems OK. Is there a way to remove the drivers ? I read a post that said to do it in "Safe Mode " . I tried it , but no luck. I have Window 7 Home Version. Thanks ! Dave
Hi, anti virus products embed themselves deeply into the operating system (they have to to do their job properly.

Provided you firstly uninstalled via control panel and then remembered to reboot your computer and then ran the dedicated Panda uninstall tool (sample available) from here:
http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/support/card?id=55509
and then remmebered to reboot again you should be Ok to install your new AV product without too much danger of conflict.

Hi Paws, Thanks for your response ! Yes, I did all of the above but the old Panda drivers are still in my system. I have had Avast installed now for about 3 weeks and everything seems OK. I didn't know the drivers were there until I ran OTL. Dave
