hi jeff spyware ect seems to be gone no more pups and infections i went threw and deleted all bad infected folders ect from my storage disks question what would you recommend me to use to fix the rest of my computer with , there is things missing the computer is still running very bad ,windows is very slow, firefox takes long time to come up , bad sound still takes a 30 mins to shut down thats all i can think of for now thanks heeps michelle
Hi, As of right now I don't see any malware jumping out at me, but your system was heavily infected and there is no telling what damage was actually done to the system itself. It might be better to actually go ahead and format and reinstall your system unfortunately. If you don't want to go that route then I would suggest that you post a new topic in the Windows forum here at What the Tech and see what it is that they might be able to tell you. Let me know what you would like to do. :)
Hi Jeff well i think it needs a computer tech now as iv got a black screen and words and it says dosnt recognize a operating system so i think i am done thanks for all your help do you know anything about on my newest computer im getting The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. seems to be 2 sites that i know of as yet vista , firefox and on IE as well also cannot open PHP file ??? and firefox keeps stalling thanks Jeff ps iv sent you a donation last week
Hi, I was afraid that this might be coming unfortunately. The system was heavily infected and sometimes this happens due to the damage done by the infections. As for the issue with FF you might just need to remove all cookies and see how that helps out. Otherwise, save your Bookmarks and then I would uninstall Firefox and reinstall a fresh version. See if that helps you out. Thank you for the donation, but the end result being a reinstall of an operating system because of the damage from the infections is not something I would think a donation is warranted. I would be more than happy to return the donation.
ok, returning is good and ill put it towards reinstalling but thanks heeps for all your time how do i save my bookmarks??
