Sorry, I've been away on vacation for 10 days, just got back. Did you try CC3 while Google Talk Plugin was uninstalled?

I would completely uninstall all Brother software. Reboot then reinstall, see if that fixes it.

Ya, I actually tried that and no luck! Not sure what caused it to stop working; I do know that it had something to do with the skin as the classic skin works, but this works hardly ever. The 2 program are BrCtrCen.exe & BrccMCtl.exe.

By skin, do you mean Theme? XP comes with two themes. Windows XP Windows Classic Is this the Classic that works. Windows XP does not work? Are you trying to use a modified/custom theme? Try creating a new Administrator level user account then logon with it and see if the problem occurs or not.

I'm sorry -- I am talking about themes for CC3, part of the Brother software. I am using WIN XP with lastest updates.

If it works with Classic then stay with Classic. Why beat yourself over the head for something that really doesn't matter?

The thing is, it doesn't always open and I have to right click to open as admin -- just wonder what caused it to malfunction! Tks for the assistance!

Can you right click on it, and select Properties. See if you can set it to always runas Administrator.
