EDIT AGAIN…..SO I didn't do the defragment thingy because i want to know should i go back and run the OTL and then hit fix….. i didn't hit the fix button
Hi compudodo,

No need to go back and run the OTL fix. The log you supplied shows what I needed to see.

Please go ahead and run the Disk Defrag step. When it has completed reboot and post back describing how the computer is running.
my computer had automatic defrag checked and done just 4 days ago. no. it isn't running well. part of the reason i should go over to the windows forum. my brand new mouse also was working just fine and then poof, now it is an unrecognizable device to my computer (and the old mouse won't hardly work at all, i still have to drag it with the touch pad) and this machine doesn't seem to want to remember passwords at all……. sometimes it will, most times it doesn't and the little box that used to pop up when you visit a new website and asks you if you want the computer to remember the password doesn't appear any more. so i have a bunch of issues with this recycled computer i bought used ( i just don't beleive in buying new, it's the ecological sound thing to recycle things and buy used). I bought from a reputable place, but these warrantees only last 30 days and if the computer was a lemon to begin with, they could have missed things in a general overhaul which i am sure they did. thank you so much for your help. I have looked all over the site for the blurb about making a donation and i can't find it. I searched a vew pages and just haven't found it, could you post a link to where i can make a donation? thanksa again for all your kind and patient help.
