I'm 99.9999% certain that I got a virus by downloading a crack. In any case, I ran a questionable exe on my computer, and now I'm screwed.
When I try to open Gmail, for example, the browser attempts to redirect me. Thankfully Windows picks-up on the hijack, but I basically end-up with a stop page.
Windows virus scanning will not start, and AVG install is mysteriously blocked.
This virus is either hiding as a windows service, or maybe named as a legitimate Windows service/app.
I have posted my HiJack This report below. Any help is more than I deserve for doing something this stupid (and knowing better), but any help is nonetheless greatly appreciated.
