My PC seems to get slower and slower.

Now it won't even do Disk clean up anymore. It seems to help when I clear my cache but only for a short period.

Here's my hijack this log

Hello, I Am Alander :)

Welcome to the Malware Removal forums.

I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems.

Logs can take a while to research so please be patient while I work on them and I will post back here with any recommendations.

As I am still training, everything that I post to you, must be checked by an Admin or Moderator.

Thus, there may be a tiny bit of a delay between posts. While it shouldn't be too long, you can be assured you will get the best possible advice.

  • I will working be on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.
  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
  • It's often worth reading through these instructions and printing them for ease of reference.
  • If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to say or ask!! It's better to be sure and safe than sorry.
  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.

Step 1
DDS Scan
  • Please download DDS … by sUBs. Save it to your desktop. Alternate download link here.
Disable any script blocking software you have running before running DDS.
  • Please double click dds.com to run the tool. (File name will be different if alternate download used).
Vista - W7 users: You must right click on the file above and select "Run As Administrator" to run the tool.
A black window will open with some instructions/comments…
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    • DDS.txt
    • Attach.txt
Caution: The above logs will NOT be saved… you must save them to your desktop.
  • Please post both the DDS.txt and Attach.txt files in your next reply.
Hi, thanks a lot. I have gone thru this before to no avail but I hope it will work better this time. FYI, I can no longer run cleandsk. It does identify the files but never manage to delete them. Clearing my cache (Chrome) takes forever and sometimes doesn't finish. See logs attached.
Hi, Sorry for the long delay, the malware removal forums are rather busy at the moment Please do not post attachments, just simply paste the logs in the reply box Before we proceed I got a question.. Is this machine use for business activities? I need to know to give the appropriate instructions
Business Use Computer
Unfortunately, we cannot help remove malware from a computer, used for business purposes.
Many of these type systems may have specific modifications made..which could be removed or damaged by the tools we use. These altered systems may also hinder our tools, possibly reducing their effectiveness in removing the malware.

The scans we run often reveal information that most businesses would not want exposed in an open forum, and there are other legal constraints and ramifications involved with business machines that we are not equipped or trained to deal with.

If you are having problems with a business machine, please consult your IT Department or System Administrator. We cannot undertake the liability of a business-owned asset. You are advised to consult your employer's "Acceptable Usage Policy" to ensure that you are not in breach of Company rules by attempting to fix a business asset.
For a corporate or multi-computer business:
I strongly advise that you contact your IT department. Make them aware of the problems you are having. If your computer is infected (possibly others as well), your IT department needs to be aware of this, so they can devise a plan to minimize any business impact.
For a single computer used for business purposes:
I would advise your contract an individual or firm to deal with any computer problems.

I am sorry to inform you that this thread will be closed
