The disks you have will allow you to reformat the machine.
Information about how to perform the reformat can be found
here

We do prefer that you use your usual account regardless of how many machines you have and even if you are trying to help someone else.
Let me know how you get on with the R+R
Sure thing. I will try to get that done today. Thank you. I will keep you updated
Not sure how to get it to boot from Cd….. triedcd and it booted regularly
Got to the vista choice and then it went regularly again
Think I got it now
The way to configure a machine to Boot from a CD varies depending on make and model. If your machine is now booting from the CD you ought to be able to work your way through the procedure detailed in the link I provided earlier.
Let me know if you encounter any problems
Said something about old files being stored in folder "old windows " will the infections still be on the machine?
Hello
Webster555
An "Old Windows" directory is created when the operating system is reinstalled but the machine is not reformatted.
It seems that the instructions I provided did not include the reformat step
In order to remove everything from the machine it must be
reformatted prior to reinstalling Vista.
The following
guide ought to help.
If you are still encountering problems I would advise you to create a new thread in our
Microsoft Windows Forum
Our Tech Crew will be able to guide you through the entire process
So during the install before I select the drive I should click advanced and select format?
Since this problem appears to be resolved this topic is now closed.
Glad we could help
Best wishes
