Iam not up to pawing over MS "search" files .....all I need is the startup/ cmd prompt/run info HOW to run the disk...without crashing

Maybe this will work:
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs you will see three boxes down the left hand side
Click on Add/Remove Windows components
The screen that comes up
Highlight Accessories and Utilities
Click Details
Then Highlight Accessories
Click Details
You will see the subcomponents of Accessories
Check MS Paint, and follow the instructions as you hit the OK
