Query about Silver Member!

Hey All, I just noticed that on my profile page, Silver Member is written. Previously, it was not there, I think. Can anyone please let me know, what is the meaning of this and why this change? Just curious about this…:)
Quite simple really, pretty much every site I have ever seen has a built in grading system, where users are given a status name according to the amount of posts they have made, kids often spam just to get a better status, but it has no reflection on the person themselves, but there are some who view it as important, but in all my years a person making a single post could be more helpful than someone with 1000's of posts, fortunately those that abuse this are in the minority, but just keep posting as you have, and eventually it will change again when you hit the next milestone, so it's all good.
Thanks 8210 guy. I think previously there was no staus where there is now silver member. Do you happen to know these milestones for statuses? Yes i agree with you that member with single post can be more helpful.

Hai ragione, molte persone considerano la parola come un trofeo. <_<
Ma mi piace modificandola quella parola con nomi strani :D
TBH I have no idea what the stepping or titles are for each title, but they will usually be in multiples of 10, so 10, 50, 100, 250 etc, those are simple examples, I have no idea of the actual numbers, I suspect it may be posted somewhere in the FAQ's or similar type thread, it is a common question I have seen on sites, so often it has been listed by an Admin or similar, but the amounts of posts, and the titles are usually set by the site owner when installing the forum, but generally speaking this is what you will find on any forum, hope that clears it up a bit for you.
I believe that the given titles are as follows: Authentic Member - 20 Silver Member - 250 Advanced Member - 500 Super Member - 1000 Super Helper - 5000 Forum God - 10,000

Authentic Member - 20
Silver Member - 250
Advanced Member - 500
Super Member - 1000
Super Helper - 5000
Forum God - 10,000

That's the 2nd time in 2 days that someone has posted whilst I was about to post,
I had a hard time finding the info  I only just realized why. <_<

Glad you had it Tomk

you been a bad boy, Jkc73 and they dropped you back to Authentic Member even tho you have over 800 posts?? :P

I believe they only have the following types, as per here.
Try not to confuse these groups and the member type.

  • Authentic
  • WTT Classroom
  • Tech
  • Visiting
  • Malware
  • Mod
  • Admin
