Probably not. I'm thinking that you've sought help on one of these forums before and were asked to run ComboFix. You then either did not complete your thread… or ignored housekeeping recommendations from your helper.

Time for some housekeeping
  • Click START then RUN
  • Now type Combofix /Uninstall in the runbox and click OK
  • Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.
The above procedure will:
  • Implement some cleanup procedures.

Please re-enable any security that was disabled.

Please let me know how it goes.

Are you having any issues?
Yes. I have sought help here before. My thread was inactivated. The only problem I have is that sometimes my computer runs slowly every once in awhile. I don't have much space left on my hard drive. The run box could not find the file name, procedure for combofix /uninstall. (I did put the space in between x and u). Thank you for your help
koshe,

How about you let me look at a log and see what I can find to help… might not find anything but I work cheap. :D

Please download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links and save it to your desktop.

  • Double click DDS icon to run the tool (may take up to 3 minutes to run)
  • When done, DDS.txt will open.
  • After a few moments, attach.txt will open in a second window.
  • Save both reports to your desktop.

  • Post the contents of the DDS.txt report in your next reply
  • Attach the Attach.txt report to your post by scroling down to the Attachments area and then clicking Browse. Browse to where you saved the file, and click Open and the click UPLOAD.
