lol, maybe the hubby found the naked man in thier wardrobe before going on holiday, and theres ya motive! 
Four jolly men sat down to play,
And played all night till break of day.
They played for cash and not for fun,
With a separate score for every one.
When it came time to square accounts,
they all had made quite fair amounts.

It doesn't say they were playing cards or doing any kind of gambling. They could have been playing music. How about a string quartet playing for hire?
