CPU fan and over usage

Hi, Recently my old desktop (which has not had this problem for the years I've had it) started running the cooling fan too much. It seems every time I watch a video now, the fan runs and the CPU usage shoots way up. I posted here because I've ran many spyware checks and found nothing. Any advice on this? Thanks

It sounds like your PC is overheating and needs a good clean out, especially the CPU heat-sink. The fins tend to block-up with dust.
