The window says "The language package installation required………….Japan……….install/cancel". I always click cancel button. I wonder what that window means. Thanks in advance.

There are no obvious signs of any malware in the HJT log, but I would need to do deeper scans to know for certain.

What the message means, is that you are visiting web sites that require the Japanese language pack installation in order for the web page to display the characters properly.

Are there other symptoms that you have that might lead you to believe you are infected:

Please run an online scan:

Go here to run an online scanner from ESET.
  • Note: You will need to use Internet explorer for this scan
  • Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan
  • Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use.
  • Click Start
  • When asked, allow the activeX control to install
  • Click Start
  • Make sure that the option Remove found threats is unticked and the Scan Archives option is ticked.
  • Click on Advanced Settings, ensure the options Scan for potentially unwanted applications, Scan for potentially unsafe applications, and Enable Anti-Stealth Technology are ticked.
  • Click Scan
  • Wait for the scan to finish
  • When the scan completes, press the LIST OF THREATS FOUND button
  • Press EXPORT TO TEXT FILE , name the file ESETSCAN and save it to your desktop
  • Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
  • Press the BACK button.
  • Press Finish
I run Eset Online Scan. After the scan completed, the results were written on the screen: Eset Online Scanner Scan Results No Threats Found Scanned Files:43296 Infected Files:0 Cleaned Files:0 Total Scan Time:00:38:11 Scan Status:Finished The strange thing is: When I enter webpages "yahoo.com", "facebook.com", even "whatthetech.com" –these sites normally don't require japanese language– the Japanese Language Pack Installation message appears on IE8 screen.
go into your languages options and make certain English is selected

Select the Control Panel from your Start menu
Select Regional and Language Options in the Control Panel

On the Regional Options tab > make sure English is selected in the drop down menu

Now select the Languages tab

Select the Details button > Make sure English is selected as the default input language > OK any changes:
