ok my PC chrased about 2 weeks ago fgot it up and runing but now it doesnt detect the cd dives!!! :pullhair: i have two CD/DVDwriter drives neither one of them shows up in my computer!! os-XP Home SP2 RAM-756 (somewere in the 700s) thats many all i know about the system but everthing hooked up right…
no it didnt do anything just scaned my system and didn't find them now the cd drives worked during the install of the os but they won't work now ive tried installing a drvie thats ment to make cd drive compos more compatape but it dosnt finsh instilling the drive

I don't understand what your words mean.
sorry bad spelling i tryed to install a drive that was recomend BY hp support but it didnt finsh installing :(

No Optical Drives appear as detected nor drivers installed for your machine.

ok….. how do i fix it…
so as i sai it would let me install the drives=res it keeps giving me an error
hold on and all give you the error messge when i try to install the drivers
📎error_message.zip right theres the error message the driver i got from HP support along with all the others i have installed just checked the pins none of them are mashed in am going to see if thy show up in the boot menu
Good that you are checking in BIOS to see if Optical Drives are being recognized. I'm going to guess that they are not. Best to set option to "Auto or Automatic" <– or something similar.
