Happy Halloween ?

For those of us in the US, did you have a Happy Halloween? Very quiet in my neighborhood. Maybe 40-50% as compared to prior years. Seems to have been a larger number of church and community sponsored parties for the very young. I like that. But I do enjoy seeing the neighbor kids and their parents who I recognize from around this area. I've never appreciated the parents who load up their kids in vans and SUV's to drag them around to as many neighborhoods and houses as possible. Of course this is a College town, and as you might expect there is a huge celebration in the downtown area. This year it was held on Saturday night. Though it does get rather wild and rowdy, the years have seem some remarkable costumes, role-play, and laughter. This year was no exception. Hope your celebration or lack thereof was as much of a Treat as you had anticipated.

Ours was pretty much as expected. Only get family. I've got 11 nieces and nephews that live within a mile radius of me (which just happens to be all of the kids in that area). There are 8 that still "trick or treat". We we "haunted" by all 8 of them.
