how many "thanksgiving" holidays do you have over there?? seems to me i read a new topic every month with people wishing everyone a good "thanksgiving" best wishes to everyone anyway.

Hi Terry, Doug, explained it all to me a year or two ago, and it seems like a splendid idea… As far as I can make out, its a bit like a Harvest Festival but with attitude! and family and friends travel miles to be with each other for a celebration supper of thanksgiving. I reckon we should introduce it over here, then we could all celebrate our good fortune and give thanks for all our blessings…Peace and goodwill to all…

yep any excuse for a party is a good one to me.. i was getting confused(again ) seems canada celebrate thanksgiving for a good harvest in october and the americans have one in november, thats why i thought they had more than one.
