Yesterday tried Microsoft Product Support Reporting Tool for gathering of critical system and logging information used in troubleshooting support issues. This information helps diagnose and document problems in the software quicker and very complete. It looks like collected log files from Process explorer, Autoruns (startup), Event viewer, System info, Administrator tools (services, hot fixes, installed software, scheduler, boot info, printers, hard disk, network,…) in one cab file.
My idea is to periodically make system snapshots with date for farther analyzing when problem happened, … hmmm maybe.

I used Microsoft Product Support Reports Viewer

Nothing special, but who has time …

I'm curious what the output look s like. Been running for 11 minutes so far …. Loooks like there will be a lot more data than I have any use for or even understand. Will know soonish.
Wow, took 22 minutes to run. Collected a ton of data. The networking data is all inclusive and exhaustive and could be of use when working on network problems. The generated cab file was 4.6MB. The viewer did a pretty good job of presenting the information, but there is so much it sort of overwhelms you. Good find arTech!
