Go to Start > Run > type in CMD to open a command prompt.

Type in the following command in the command prompt and press Enter.

netsh int ip reset reset.log

Then also type the following command and hit enter.

netsh winsock reset catalog

Once that completes then restart the system and see then if you are able to get online.

I assume you've reset the wireless router too.
[attachment removed]That did not work neither; I even downloaded Toshiba ConfigFree and it stated that the wirless was not even turned on, but it is and again I can connect to my router, just the IP address will not renew; I even went into the router to renew it and add her card to it and that did not work…. I am stumped!
We need to check out your devices. Please download DevDiag, and save it to your Desktop:

  • Double-click the program to run it.
  • At the options screen, please type 2 and hit Enter.
  • The tool will take a few moments to scan. When finished, a report should pop-up, also available on your Desktop (DevDiag.txt).
  • Please do not copy/paste the report into your next reply. Instead, Attach it by clicking Add Reply, and scrolling down to the Attachments section.
How do you get rid of files in msconfig; some of these files are either not installed or the services have been deleted (not in registry) or not in the folders as shown…
Nothing needs to be changed in msconfig - there are no infections visibly remaining.

Unfortunately I've reached the end of my troubleshooting with the wireless - it does not appear to be infection related though. Please head over to the Windows Forum section and let them know that you've been given the all clear, and explain what's happening (link them to this thread too).

I'll leave this thread open for a week or so in case you have any other concerns.
