I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve by running file recovery programs. The guys over at the Microsoft Windows forum will be better at helping you with your current problems.

ok i will. the thing is that i lost access to picture folder on my external HDD after i ran chdsk i was able to access it but one subfolder was missing.tryign to get it back and thanks for help
