Can it make PDFs?? I would love it if it did. I'm using openoffice and it can make pdfs.

Yes
MS Office 2010 can save in pdf file format (and in xps if you like) on Both Word and Excel

LOL I think actually having the pro version of acrobat is pointless this day and age. so many apps can make pdfs and its awesome.
