Go here and follow the instructions to clear your Java Cache

Did you do this?

Platform: Windows XP (WinNT 5.01.2600)
You're 3 service packs behind. When was the last time you ran windows updates?

Uninstall Internet Explorer 8 to return to Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP

Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 8 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
Okay so I cleared the java cache but i didn't do the windows update thing because it would freeze at the part where it backs up the registry.
Sorry I haven't replied for a while but i had to run combofix again because my dad ran the system restore program and it messed up the computer alot. But when i was running the windows update to SP2 (becuase i didn't have the option for SP3 right then) It would seem to freeze at the part where it would run the processes before setting up

You're wasting your time without the SP updates.
