Computer Take over

Hello, Thank goodness for this site. My computer has been infected with something. Malicious programs will pop up, stop Spy Sweeper, not allow programs to boot, and now when I reboot the computer, it freezes before I get a chance to do anything. Please help… I'm not sure what to do. Thanks, Matt
