Autorun.inf would be a great convenience, if not for all the easy ways that it can be abused, particularly by virus and worm activity.
If you have not already, you ought to consider the Microsoft patch recommendation to at least partially turn off Autorun and AutoPlay features.

Unfortunately these steps may not be sufficient to prevent malware from taking action via autorun.inf
Let us know if you wish to pursue a higher level of security than that provided by the MS patches.

As to your specific file autorun.inf.vir <-- yes, it looks suspicious
We would not have the direct ability to diagnose and correct any problems that may have occurred as a result of this file.
