This is a first for me, posting on a fourm for help so I will try to do the best I can to be informative. I am currently using a HP Pavilion laptop with Windows Vista and am having a problem with a virus I believe is changing itself constantly and refusing to be rid of. The virus(es) are preventing me from connecting to antivirus websites and Microsoft.com to update. I've ran multiple scans in safe mode using MalwareBytes Anti-malware and it has found nothing. I checked my hosts file to see if anything was added to it under localhost, but there wasn't. I've also done a scan with HijackThis and do not know too much to know what to select to fix and what not to fix. I'm adding the logfile from HijackThis in hopes I may be able to receive some help. If possible I'd like to avoid having to do a system restore but if need I'll do it. Thank you for any and all help in advance.

Below is the log from HijackThis:

Running processes:
C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpnscfg.exe
C:\Windows\system32\wbem\unsecapp.exe
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe
