no desktop picture allowed on pc and other probs

Hi all, I have had nothing but trouble with my pc since i recently installed windows security update (automatic) i cannot have a desktop background picture its just the colour. I am having serious issues with opening up links , i couldn't even search for my problem on this forum due to the pc not opening up the search link. Yesterday the font size and style changed on all web pages and I had to ring up my IP due to the fact i was receiving 0.062 megabytes download when i usually get nearly 10. They said it was my pc not there line. I have ran AVG scan Spybot and malwarebytes scan all said comp was free from infections Any suggestions would be very appreciated

i'm not sure if a system restore might help, but try posting a HiJackThis log in the HijackThis™ Logs and Infections Removal section… sounds like malware

Hi sorry not replied been pulling my hair out over this pc, lol ok i will post on infections but i did a full recovery and the pc is still having probs and there is nothing on it, could i have a corrupt windows? totally baffled thx for your reply anyway.
